My family’s favorite chicken recipe is that this Broiled or Grilled Pollo Sabroso seasoned with Latin flavors to create the very best tasting grilled chicken thighs.

Pollo Sabroso

Pollo Sabroso means delicious chicken in Spanish so I believed the name could be perfectly fitting for this flavorful chicken that everybody loves in my house. I especially like it topped with somewhat Peruvian Green Sauce! Latin food has a lot flavor because we prefer to use a number of seasoning and this chicken is not any exception. A fast recipe for the broiler or grill; you should use thighs, legs, breast, wings, whatever you want. I often let this marinate at the very least 20 minutes, nevertheless it’s even higher in the event you marinate it overnight.

I personally enjoy this with all visible fat trimmed off the chicken and a small piece of skin on top. For those who want to make this without the skin, the points and calories will probably be lower. This can also be great with boneless chicken thighs or breasts.

Sazon seasoning with achiote is what gives this chicken the red color, and might be purchased in most supermarkets. I personally like Badia since it doesn’t have MSG. I even have a recipe for Homemade Sazon in the event you want to make it from scratch.

How To Grill Chicken Thighs

1. Preheat the grill for medium heat, about 350°F.
2. Cook the chicken a couple of minutes on all sides with the lid closed, until golden and grill marks appear.
3. Move the chicken around and flip every jiffy with the lid closed, ensuring they don’t burn about half-hour, or until the chicken is cooked through and the inner temp is 165°F.
4. Let the chicken rest 5 minutes before serving.

How To Grill Boneless Chicken Thighs

For those who prefer boneless skinless thighs, cook the chicken medium-high heat 5 to six minutes on all sides.

• 6 medium chicken thighs, with bone and skin
• 1 tbsp vinegar
• 2 teaspoons soy sauce, coconut aminos for whole30
• 1 packet Sazon with achiote, Badia or Goya (1/2 tablespoon)
• 1 teaspoon Adobo seasoning, in Spanish aisle
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

• Season chicken with vinegar and soy sauce.

• Add sazon, 1 teaspoon of adobo, garlic powder, oregano and adobo and blend well. (Don’t use your hands or they may turn orange)

• Let chicken marinate when you heat the grill.

• Broil or grill on low until chicken is cooked through, turning a couple of times, careful to not burn, about half-hour. Enjoy with rice and salad.
