“Modifying existing vaccines to incorporate protection against newer strains is just not latest. The method doesn’t require a change in ingredient and can also be commonly used with the flu vaccines,” Califf explained. 

Pfizer and Moderna have submitted latest COVID-19 vaccine boosters to the FDA for approval, and so they are expected to roll out this fall, as per Recent York Post. 

The vaccine makers said their current data showed that the booster shots are secure and effective against COVID-19. Nonetheless, Moderna has already began human trials, while Pfizer will do the identical before the month ends.
