Cilantro Lime Shrimp is bursting with flavor and it takes about 10 minutes to make! Serve it over rice or tacos for a straightforward weeknight dinner!
Cilantro Lime Shrimp
Cilantro lime shrimp is very easy to whip up, and it’s loaded with flavor!! That is at all times on my dinner rotation. We serve it over rice, with tortillas to make shrimp tacos or over a salad. Ingredients
- Shrimp: You may buy fresh or frozen jumbo shrimp that’s peeled or unpeeled. Unpeeled is usually cheaper, but you will have to peel and devein it.
- Seasoning: Cumin, salt, pepper
- Garlic: Crush five cloves of garlic.
- Lime: Squeeze two tablespoons of juice from one medium lime.
- Cilantro: Chop fresh cilantro.

- Season the shrimp with cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the Shrimp: Heat a big nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add a teaspoon of olive oil and half of the shrimp to the pan. Cook them undisturbed for about two minutes. Turn the shrimp over and cook for an additional minute until opaque. Transfer to a plate.
- Garlic: Add the remaining oil and shrimp to the pan. After a few minutes, flip the shrimp over, add the garlic, and cook for one minute. Return the primary batch of shrimp to the skillet, and blend well so the garlic is evenly incorporated. Remove the pan from the warmth.
- Lime and Cilantro: Squeeze the lime juice and sprinkle the cilantro all around the shrimp.

Storage
Cooked shrimp is nice for as much as 3 days within the refrigerator. You might microwave it, but I like to recommend eating the leftovers cold.

Squeeze the lime juice over all of the shrimp. Add the cilantro, toss well, and serve.
