As she tells mindbodygreen, whether you had a spiritual upbringing that discouraged sensuality, you are not experienced with eroticism, or you’ve got experienced any sexual trauma, there are a ton of reasons you would possibly feel disconnected out of your body and sensuality—but yoga may also help.
“Having these pleasurable things, it is a natural state for us,” Berkheimer tells mindbodygreen, adding that with sensual yoga, we’re capable of decelerate and are available back to the body and breath in a way that “gives us a chance to feel again.”
