At just 17-years-old, Estep isn’t any stranger to notching records, especially at different levels of competition. In 2021, throughout the IWF Youth World Championships, Estep notched each the snatch (89 kilograms) and total (198 kilograms) Youth World Records for the 55-kilogram division. She also set the Youth American record on the snatch, clean & jerk (109 kilograms), and total.

Estep’s Goals
On the time of this writing, Estep hasn’t confirmed when she’ll aim to compete next. That said, if she’s in a position to train well and proceed her rapid progression over the approaching years, the American athlete could potentially challenge for a spot with Team USA on the 2024 Paris Olympics. She’s not the one young women’s weightlifter that could possibly be ready for the Olympics challenge.
