Event One Results — “Bike to Work”
Toomey, who’s the five-time defending champ, was the favourite going into the event. She got second (and 96 points), and it was American Haley Adams who got here with with the win — ending three seconds faster than Toomey. This was Adams’ first profession event win on the CrossFit Games.
After the event’s completion, judges took a chance to review several questionable performances and adjusted the standing accordingly. Danielle Brandon and Elena Carratala Sanahuja were found to haven’t accomplished all the bike course and had their times increased, while Seungyeon Choi was found to have accomplished an additional lap and had her time decreased accordingly.

In each round, athletes will perform the run after which complete as many jerks (shoulder-to-overheads) as possible within the time remaining. This might be scored as two separate 100-point events. The primary Shuttle to Overhead workout (A) rating might be an athlete’s total time to finish the three runs. The second Shuttle to Overhead workout (B) might be the entire variety of jerks accomplished across the three rounds.
Event Three — Skill Speed Medley
The Skill Speed Medley was a series of three rounds of progressively tougher mixtures of pegboard climbing, jump rope, pistol squats, and handstand walks. Each round had a three-minute closing date.
The primary round required athletes to climb a pegboard, perform 75 unbroken reps of jump rope, perform 10 unbroken pistol squats with each leg, and end with a handstand walk. The 20 best performers moved on to the second round which called for a more strict pegboard climb, 50 unbroken jump rope double-unders, 10 unbroken pistol squats per leg, and a handstand walk starting with a pirouette spin.
The competitors with the five best times progressed to the ultimate round: a strict pegboard climb, 50 unbroken jump rope double-unders with a hand crossover, 10 unbroken pistol squats per leg, and a a handstand walk starting with an L-sit on parallel bars.
The largest surprise of this round was the relatively poor performance from five-time Games champion Tia-Clair Toomey, who struggled with the unbroken jump rope in the primary round and was unable to progress to round two.
